A beautiful gem in the archipelago! Sula was once an important fishing village, but has, in the same way as the other islands in Norway, for the last 30 years experienced depopulation. Sula has about 50 year-round residents, but has a significant population growth in the summer. At Sula you'll find a shop, a pub, a hotel and a restaurant and several accommodations. Sula lighthouse testify to the importance the fishing village once had. The lighthouse was automated in 1974. Lighthouse keeper's house is rented out for accommodation. Sula Hotel and Fishing Resort is also a great facility. Daily boat and ferry services.
